WhatsApp Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

BYTEX E.I.R.L. (RUC 20613258141), headquartered in Lima, Peru, owns and operates the GetCID service. This policy applies exclusively to interactions carried out through the WhatsApp Cloud API channel associated with GetCID. Contact details: the official channels listed on getcid.xyz.

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy describes the processing of personal data we perform only when you contact GetCID via WhatsApp. For use of the website or other channels, please review the corresponding policies published on getcid.xyz.

3. Data We Collect via WhatsApp Cloud

We do not retain messages that are not strictly necessary for the provision of the GetCID service.

Note: WhatsApp/Meta also transmits technical metadata (e.g., message ID, timestamp) for channel operation; we use it solely to ensure delivery and service traceability.

• WhatsApp phone number (wa_id).
• WhatsApp profile name (when the platform includes it in the webhook).
• Message content only when it constitutes a GetCID service request (e.g., messages containing the data needed to generate your request).

4. Purposes of Processing

We do not send advertising on WhatsApp or messages initiated by us; we only respond when the user writes first.

If you wish to stop using WhatsApp with GetCID, you can remove your number from your account at getcid.xyz.

• Operate and provide the GetCID service at the user’s request.
• Respond to messages initiated by the user.

5. Retention

• Messages containing the code/request for the GetCID service are stored permanently so you can consult what the service generated at any time.
• All other messages that are not exclusively part of the GetCID service are not stored.

6. Your Rights

• You can deactivate your WhatsApp number associated with GetCID at getcid.xyz at any time.
• Where applicable, you may exercise rights of access, rectification, and deletion by following the contact instructions published on getcid.xyz.

7. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising purposes.

International transfers may occur due to the infrastructure of WhatsApp/Meta and/or our providers (e.g., data centers outside Peru). We adopt reasonable security measures and data processing agreements to protect your data.

• Meta Platforms / WhatsApp: to send and deliver channel messages (use of the WhatsApp Cloud API), data is transmitted to and processed by Meta under its terms and policies.
• Technology providers (processors): hosting, security, and support services strictly necessary to operate GetCID.

8. Security

• GetCID account credentials and passwords are stored encrypted.
• We will never request credentials, passwords, or sensitive information via WhatsApp (such as emails, verification codes, card details, etc.).
• Account management takes place at getcid.xyz; WhatsApp is used only to request the GetCID service and receive related responses.
• We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (access controls, logging, webhook signature validation, encryption in transit) appropriate to the nature of the service.

9. Cookies

The getcid.xyz website does not use cookies for advertising or profiling. It only uses strictly necessary cookies, for example, login cookies for authenticated users.

10. Minors

GetCID is a service intended for adults acting on their own behalf. If we detect use by minors without authorization, we will block the channel and/or delete data in accordance with this policy.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version will always be available at getcid.xyz; continued use of the WhatsApp channel after changes are published implies acceptance of the updated policy.
