# GetCID

> GetCID (getcid.xyz) provides Windows and Office activation tools: Confirmation ID (CID) generation from an Installation ID (IID) or from a screenshot of it, Microsoft product-key status checks (PidMS), key exchange for account credit, Office/Visio/Project installers and community shared keys. The tools are available on the website, through an HTTP API and through a WordPress plugin.

getcid.xyz is the canonical public website. getcid.run is an alternative dashboard for the same accounts. The API host for both is https://bs.getcid.xyz. Content is available in English, Spanish, French, Russian, Portuguese (Portugal), German, Indonesian, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Italian, Vietnamese, Polish, Korean and Arabic.

## API documentation for agents

## Deprecated: GetCID legacy

The previous `GET https://bs.getcid.xyz/webapi/getcid/` endpoint (also `/webapi/get-cid/`), with the token in the URL, is legacy. It keeps working for existing integrations but is discouraged and will be retired in the future. Integrations that use it should migrate to `POST https://bs.getcid.xyz/webapi/v2/getcid/`, described in the API reference. Do not build new integrations on the legacy endpoint.
